Cascade Union Elementary School District employs approximately 210 staff members in a variety of departments – from cafeteria workers to classroom aides, from teachers to maintenance and grounds workers, from library staff to bus drivers to psychologists to secretaries to duty aides and nurses. If you are considering joining our Cascade family, here are the prerequisites for employment:
- Successful completion of paraprofessional testing OR proof of your Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree from college/university. The paraprofessional test is a test of general knowledge. The test is administered by our HR Department and you are allowed 2 hours to complete the proctored, online test. There is no cost to the applicant to take the test.
- Clear fingerprint record from the Department of Justice and/or the state of California (at no cost to you).
- Tuberculosis screening or negative test (within 60 days or if you have worked in another local district, your existing valid screening/test).
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical exam (at no cost to you).
