Volunteering

The Cascade Union Elementary School District has established regulations to protect the safety of both students and volunteers. As with our employees, volunteers shall act in accordance with district policies and regulations. Contact the school principal if you would like to volunteer.

All volunteers must be cleared through Megan’s Law. Before authorizing any person to serve as a volunteer, the site principal/designee will conduct an automated records check to determine that the individual is not a registered sex offender.

For those who wish to volunteer on a regular basis, a Department of Justice (DOJ) Live Scan Fingerprinting clearance is required. Two forms of identification are required: a valid Driver’s License (or other form of picture ID) and Social Security card. The Live Scan form is available only at the District Office.
