Band Registration

Join the Anderson Middle School Band Program!

Our band program has been around for over 30 years! It is an important part of our school community, and we are always looking for students to join!

Standard band instruments are offered:

Flute

Oboe

Clarinet

Saxophone

Trumpet

French Horn

Trombone

Euphonium

Tuba

Percussion

String instruments are not currently offered.

We currently have two bands at AMS:

Beginning Band

For any AMS student, 6th through 8th grade, who has not had any music experience, or maybe has not played in a concert band before. Students will learn how to read music, and how to care for and play their instrument. All instruments are provided by Anderson Middle School. Beginning Band meets before school in room 107. Please contact the front office if you would like to enroll your student in Beginning Band.

Cougar Band

For any AMS student, 6th through 8th grade, who has had at least one year of concert band experience. If you are coming to us from another school and participated in a band previously, consider joining the Cougar Band! Cougar Band has many opportunities to perform at school and community events. Please contact the front office if you would like to enroll your student in Cougar Band.

If you want to be involved in something great, join the AMS Band program. You won't regret it!
