[Outlook] Saving Important Emails Before they are Automatically Purged
Last Updated 8 months ago

NOTE: The policies below were planned, but as of 2023/08/22 have yet to be implemented. This article is still worthwhile reading if you wish to know how to store important emails and attachments so that they are safely and permanently stored outside of your email account.

Cascade intends to adopt a 15 month email retention policy. This means that any message in your mailbox that is more than 15 months will automatically be deleted.

In order to ensure that your important messages and email attachments are still available after they "expire," it will be necessary to download these items to your files so that you may refer to them later. It is possible to download entire messages, or just attachments.

Please note that it will be a good idea to download important messages after they arrive instead of waiting until a later date.
